Ursa Major

I like the new Third Eye Blind album, Ursa Major.  I bought it Sunday night on a pre-order from iTunes only to find out it was available immediately.  The next day, I found out I could get it for $3.99 from Amazon as just the MP3s.  I felt a little ripped off, but I wasn’t too mad.

The fact is, I have been waiting on this album for a while now.  I saw them in March and they opened with the dreaded “We’re going to play a lot of new stuff tonight.”  I hate when bands say that when they don’t actually have a new album out.  Play stuff that I can enjoy.  I don’t want to hear a bunch of new songs on a CD that I can’t buy for 5 months.  The show was good, but that isn’t the point here.  My favorite songs are Don’t Believe a Word, Summer Town, and Why Can’t You Be.  I need to listen to it more.
